Overview
Netmask.IT! is a software tool that allows non-intrusive modification and functionality additions to third party products (such as web sites and software applications), using an external component (proxy).
Usually installed as the "front-end" of a software product or website, Netmask.IT! provides privileged users (distributers, translators, administrators) with special features when accessing them. These users can edit the UI of the software (from within the browser), modify existing content, translate texts and graphics, set directionality (such as "Right-to-Left" for Hebrew and Arabic languages) and save the changes. All they need is a standard web browser - there is no need for any installation or modification at the server or at the computer running the browser (no need for plug-ins,nor for source code access or write access to the content of the site). Netmask.IT!'s advantages are particularly striking when working with dynamic pages.
